| Ancient Boat |
| The discovery of this ancient boat on the bottom of the lake arose much excitement in the Christian world. The 2000 year old boat dates back to the period of Jesus' activity in the region and could have reasonably served his disciples as a fisher boat. The boat, found in 1986, underwent special preservation processes, to prevent decomposition of the Oakwood and Cedar beams and spars. |
