Place of residence of Rabbi Yehuda Hannasi, who
transferred the seat of the "Sanhedrin" (religious supreme court and
legislature, consisting of 71 scholars) from "Beth Shearim" to
Zippori. It is in Zippori where he compiled and signed the "Mishnah".
The scholars of Zippori were also partners to the creation of the
"Talmud", which was signed in the 5th century of the C.E.
